Stem Cell Magnet Therapy

What Is Stem Cell Magnet Therapy?

The Pain Relief Institute takes pride in offering a full selection of non-invasive, non-surgical options for pain management therapy to all our Chicago area patients. Along with Zilretta (slow-release medication for knee pain that provides relief for up to three months), stem cell recruitment and PalinGen®. Both are products of advanced regenerative medicine. Stem cell recruitment uses stem cell amniotic fluid injection to promote healthy new growth in damaged areas. PalinGen® provides nutrients, cytokines, and growth factors along with anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, and regenerative properties.

But every patient is different with unique pain management needs. For this reason, we are expert at providing many other forms of pain therapy including stem cell magnet therapy in the form of Amniofix.

Stem Cells and Soft Tissue Damage

Regenerative medicine is an outgrowth of translational research in tissue engineering and molecular biology. It offers the promise of restoring damaged tissue by promoting new growth. In the case of back pain, this means the individual’s back stops hurting because the cause of the backache has been repaired. One of the most promising avenues of regenerative medicine, and one we have extensive experience with here at the Pain Relief Institute, is stem cell recruitment. Stem cell recruitment has proved useful for addressing a wide variety of complaints including joint, tendon, ligament, and muscle damage, which means it can often be therapeutic for back pain. Stem cells are “undifferentiated” cells.

This means they can renew themselves through cell division and have the potential to develop into many different kinds of cell that the body needs. Thus, when a therapeutic procedure called stem cell infusion applies them to a damaged area, they can promote healing through the growth of healthy new tissue and thus provide stem cell therapy for pain. At the Pain Relief Institute, we provide stem cell recruitment therapy via stem cell amniotic fluid injection.

What is an AmnioFix Injection?

“AmnioFix Injection is a new treatment available for multiple conditions such as knee pain, joint pain, plantar fasciitis, tendinitis, and more. The AmnioFix Injectable is a micronized dehydrated human amnion/chorion membrane allograft (skin substitute product). When injected, the growth factors will help your own cells regenerate the damaged tissue, reduce scar tissue formation, and control inflammation.” (AminoFix)

Stem cell magnet therapy is different from other injections commonly used for pain in that it is the only one currently approved that makes use of human growth factors to improve healing and cellular regeneration. Corticosteroids help relieve pain but do not last forever and carry negative side effects after prolonged usage. They can actually lead to cellular damage after long-term use. Platelet rich plasma treatments are a more natural approach to pain management so they do not have the side effects acclimated with medical interventions. but they do not have the growth factor element that stem cell magnet therapy does.

Treating Pain and Discomfort with Stem Cells

Patients who have been through other treatment options and have not yet found a solution that works for them and their pain should consider this non-steroidal, non-surgical alternative to relieve pain and heal their injuries. If rest, oral and topical treatments, and other conventional treatment methods fail, AmnioFix may be the answer you have been looking for and may well be the missing link you need to facilitate healing. Whether it is the knee, hip, shoulder, back, hands, feet, or any other joint or injury in the body, Chicago pain sufferers can treat pain and discomfort easily with stem cell magnet injection therapy.

AmnioFix is what is commonly referred to as an amniotic tissue membrane allograft, and it is carefully applied directly to the skin or injured area so it can speed up new cellular production and healing in that area. Each allograft of amniotic membrane tissue is full of growth factors, which are specialized cells in the body that communicate with other cells throughout the body about the area and severity of the damage to facilitate recovery and healing.

Is Amniofix Safe And Effective?

For decades, stem cell material has been used with great results for a wide range of illnesses, disease conditions, and injuries. “Most stem cell therapy using adult stem cells is considered safe because the stem cells are collected from the patient, minimizing the risk of an unwanted reaction. The most common side effects are temporary swelling and pain. While most stem cell therapy for arthritis is considered safe, it does carry the same risks as any other medical procedure, such as a small risk of infection.” (Arthritis Health)

All amniotic membrane tissue used in these allografts is donated by consenting and health-screened mothers scheduled for C-sections. The membranes and fluid of the amniotic sac are most often discarded after birth so it is a safe and plentiful source of powerful stem cells. For this reason, the use of these types of treatments does not have the same ethical issues or considerations that came with the first discovery of stem cells in developing embryonic tissues. Here at the Pain Relief Institute, we do not use fetal cells in any of our treatments so you can have a safe, effective, and morally clean way to get the relief you want and need. Call us today to learn more about our Chicago stem cell magnet therapy options!
